the following months at 7:00 P.M.

(January, March, May, July,

September and November)

Everyone is welcome.

If you wish to join our society, dues are

$12 for an indiviual or $20 for a

married couple per year.

This past Saturday our Historical Society went to Arlington to tour Top O'Hill Terrace (a notorious casino from the past) located on the grounds of Arlington Baptist College.  Ironic, but a must see.  Possibly one of the best tours in the county.

 The Historical Society Throws are now available

at the Library and at the Community Center,

5300 Blackstone Drive .

The Throws are 45" wide x 90" long and come in

cranberry or country blue. They are $35.00 each.

(One will be displayed at each location.)

River Oaks Library houses several display cases of photos and articles about the RO Fire Department, History of River Oaks and the Castleberry ISD.

We also have a great display of President John F. Kennedy memorabilia, including pictures of the parade down River Oaks Blvd. Call the library for open hours.
