We have MOVED our meeting place to the

RIVER OAKS LIONS CLUB located at 

1012 Red Oak Lane. We meet on the fourth

Thursday of the following months

(January, March, May, July,

September and November)

HOWEVER we are going to have a

meeting February 28, 2013.

Meeting time has been changed

from 7:00 to 6:00 P.M.

 Sometimes our speaker cannot make

the meeting on the fourth Thursday so we

reschedule to meet their schedule.

Our members are notified by

U.S. Mail and Email.

Everyone is welcome.

If you wish to join our society, dues are

$12 for an indiviual or $20 for a

married couple per year.

 The Historical Society Throws are now available

at the Library, 4900 River Oaks Blvd.

The Throws are 45" wide x 90" long and come in

cranberry or country blue. They are $35.00 each.

River Oaks Library houses several display cases of photos and articles about the RO Fire Department, History of River Oaks and the Castleberry ISD.

We also have a great display of President John F. Kennedy memorabilia, including pictures of the parade down River Oaks Blvd. Call the library for open hours.
