Pioneer Spirit 

The "Pioneer Spirit" is still flowing through River Oaks.  You don't have to be the first one to do something to have the pioneer spirit. Someone who has it, cares about their community and has left it a better place for having lived there. They may be someone who's generosity helps their fellowman.  Someone with the  pioneer spirit, is a person who uses what  they have,  and makes something special out of it. 

THE RIPPLES OF THE LIFE OF SOMEONE WITH THE   "PIONEER SPIRIT" . . . WILL TOUCH THE LIVES OF FUTURE GENERATIONS. 

Meetings are held at

John Knox Presbyterian Church

4350 River Oaks Blvd.

Meet first Monday of

 every other month

 beginning in January.

Meeting time is 6:00 P.M.

Visitors are always welcome.

River Oaks Library houses several display cases of photos and articles about the RO Fire Department, History of River Oaks and the Castleberry ISD.

We also have a great display of President John F. Kennedy memorabilia, including pictures of the parade down River Oaks Blvd. Call the library for open hours.
